BARTLETT— Freshmen State Representative Seth Lewis (R-Bartlett) has been appointed to serve on six house committees. Lewis brings to the legislature dynamic experience in engineering, manufacturing, small business, and insurance that will help him work with legislators of all backgrounds to find solutions to complex issues.
Representative Lewis has been appointed to the following committees: Appropriations – Human Services, Consumer Protection, International Trade & Commerce, Judiciary – Civil, Labor & Commerce, and Transportation, Regulation & Roads.
“I’m excited to roll up my sleeves and get to work on some of the issues facing Illinois to really improve the lives of the people who call it home,” said Lewis. “With a background in engineering, manufacturing, small business, and insurance, I think I bring a unique and valuable perspective to the significant challenges before the legislature.”
