State Representative Seth Lewis (R-Bartlett) has chosen to highlight Annie Occasion for Any Occasion, located at 148 S. Bloomingdale Rd. Suite 100, as his small business of the month.
This weekend, Rep. Lewis presented owner Annie Kasak with an official certificate recognizing her service to the community! Annie opened her store eight years ago and has been providing the community of Bloomingdale with floral arrangements, gifts, custom designs, and more ever since. Her store was borne out of a deep appreciation for creativity, the arts, and design, and a life-long desire to open her own business. Not only does Annie Occasion for Any Occasion provide the best designs and high quality customer service, but the team works hard to give back to the Bloomingdale community as a whole. They offer 10% off for seniors 65+, active military, and veterans, and they routinely work with local food pantries and charities to donate and give back to the community.
“Our mission is to put a smile on every person’s face that comes into the store and to work with each individual to accommodate their needs and fulfill their wishes,” said Annie. “It’s an honor to receive this recognition because it will help us keep working towards that mission!”
“Annie Occasion for Any Occasion is a quintessential small business and adds so much value to the community in Bloomingdale,” said Lewis. “It’s always special to see small businesses thrive and Annie is working so hard for her dream. I am pleased to have this store be a part of the larger 45th District and encourage our local residents to stop by and see it for themselves!”
The Representative will to continue to honor one local business a month; if you know of a business you would like to nominate, contact his district office at (630) 349 – 0645.
